Find 2-Star Hotels in Shanghai

We booked two rooms, both looked as advertised which was very nice! Rooms were mostly clean, only very minor details were overlooked. We had a kitchenette but there was no cooking or eating equipment at all. Smoking seems to be allowed inside but the room didn't smell. Reception didn't speak any English but are well versed with translators. Overall would stay again.

The apartment is located right in the七浦area which is Shanghai's wholesale fashion zone with many malls selling clothes, shoes and bags at low prices. Think Platinum Mall in BKK but even better! There are 2 metro lines within short walking distance and just a stop away from the famous Nanjing East Rd. The loft we stayed in for 4 nights was on level 25 and offered a great view of the Oriental Pearl Tower from the balcony. Lots of eateries downstairs and Luckin Coffee just across the road from the apartment made it super easy to get our morning coffee every day.

The room is clean and hygienic, with good sound insulation and smart toilet. The hotel is located in an older area, close to Metro Line 1 and about 1 km away from Metro Line 2. It is more convenient to take a taxi to the Bund when there are many people. I took a taxi to various places when it rained. The price is similar to that of the subway when there are many people. There are many places to eat on Huanghe Road, such as soup dumplings, shengjian, noodle shops, and butterfly cakes at the International Hotel. You don't have to go out to find food.

I suddenly decided to go to Shanghai to see an exhibition I had been longing for, which was located near Jing'an. I checked the hotel prices and found that the room rates for the festival in the city center are really painful. I live alone, but I thought it was only for two nights, so cleanliness and safety were the most important things, so I booked it with the mentality of giving it a try. After get off work, I jumped on the high-speed train to Shanghai. Change subways at the station and follow the navigation. Jing'an has a different flavor at night. When I pushed the door open, I smelled a pleasant, fresh smell, as if the room had just been cleaned. The girl at the front desk checked my information, checked me in, and gave me the room card. The process was very quick. I live in a six-person room. The room was more spacious and brighter than I had imagined. The bed was a simple white color and felt dry and fresh, without any moisture or odor. This put my mind at ease. There is a small lamp and socket at the bedside, which is very convenient. The public toilet and shower room are at the end of the corridor on the same floor. I paid special attention to them. The floor was dry, the cubicles were clean, and there was plenty of hot water. I felt refreshed after taking a shower. When I came back in the evening, I found many interesting little cafes and bakeries hidden in the nearby streets. The subway station was even closer, so it was worry-free to go anywhere. Go out to see the exhibition in the morning, come back to take a hot bath in the evening, check your phone on the clean and comfortable bed, and feel full of energy for the next day.

Seeing that the location is Shanghai it was a-bit more expensive than what it’s worth to be honest. This place shouldn’t cost beyond $22usd as far as I am concerned. The walls are pretty thin and people are talking loud and you can just hear about everything till 2am in the morning. Not the best choice if you seek a peaceful nights sleep. The shower head was pretty dirty amongst other things. The bed was comfortable though. But apart from that the place was ok. Only a good choice for one night. Where I needed to be that day was pretty near to this hotel, hence why I chose it.

The family room is large, with two large beds that can accommodate 4 people, not crowded at all. There is a Pudong airport pick-up service, and there is also a shuttle bus to Disneyland, which is very convenient. The front desk service attitude is particularly good, and I will stay here next time. The cost performance is very high.

Cleaness not too good, but the Service from homestay owner is magnificent. Fast response and so kind service....the homestay itself it's quite good and comfortable.it's just on a third floor with stairs, so like me with big and more than one baggage is quite tasking to lift it up to third floor. Location about 300meters from Shanxi South metro station.

Good place to stay! I do recommend this hotel if you like comfort and cheap prices in a good part of the city, reached of good restaurants nearby and good neighborhood to walk in.

This stay was perfect! Living with my boyfriend, I was most worried that the room was not clean. But the moment I entered the room, I could feel the extreme cleanliness. Every corner was spotless, and the bedding was soft and tidy, which made people feel at ease. Then the room was very comfortable and the scenery outside was also very good. Most importantly, the convenience was also surprising. The hotel was seamlessly connected to the subway station and it was only a few minutes' walk to the station. Whether you want to check in at the iconic buildings on the Bund or explore other attractions in the city, you can easily get there directly, which greatly saves travel time. The most praiseworthy thing is the hotel's service! From the front desk reception to the room service, every staff member is enthusiastic and professional. Not only do they patiently answer questions, but they also take the initiative to provide thoughtful suggestions. Whether you check in or check out, you can feel the meticulous care throughout the whole process, making you feel at home. Highly recommended to every friend who plans to travel!

It good for servis of they staff but they location far from city but it you stay for wait to flight it good location because near airport and they have servise for pick up you go and back from Airport
