Good but needs care and maintenance

This hotel should have been renovated, so the bedroom area is relatively new, but the bathroom and kitchen area look relatively old. It is a bit noisy at night because it is close to the road. When two bathrooms are open at the same time, the power circuit breaker trips and there is no hot water at the back. The advantage here is that it is close to Al Tayibat International City for Science & Knowlede, and the breakfast is also very rich!

The room was really clean and extremely comfortable, and definitely helped given that we had a long layover. However, the service is really bad. We had to wait in a queue for about an hour just to get to the reception desk. Apparently it’s always like that so I don’t really understand the value of making reservations ahead of time. They definitely are understaffed. If they can’t hire anyone else then the least they could do is issue out tickets and have enough seating to accommodate guests so that people aren’t frustrated. Amenities are decent but there’s no dental kit or even a bin in the bathroom.

There are not many shops around the building, but I think more will be added in the future. The electricity in the room is shut off every day during the day, which bothers me.
