As usual the standard set by Shangri-la hotels throughout the world is the same here. Located about 15 mins away from old Town and location is pretty good. Was given an upgrade to an upper floor with better view. Also a big thanks to the housekeeping and reception.

Shangri-la Hotel in Diqing district in Xianggelila city has beautiful ambience. In my hotel package, they also provides free experience on traditional clothes trying and phototaking, buttered tea making, and oxygen bar. Special thanks to the hotel staff 和华 with her warm hearted services on arranging free pick-up from /drop-off to train station, one-day tour around 那帕海 and sharing her own stories as a 纳西族 mum.

Really nice hotel. Definitely live up to Shangrila reputation. The ambiance is very upscale, and the staff are super nice (except for one guy waitstaff in Anie's restaurant, whose answer to anything we asked was "don't have", while the items will materialized in seconds when we ask the very nice manager. Btw, the item in question was a fork. What restaurant does not have a fork??. I digress here.
The room is large, and amenities are first class.
Swimming pool, oxygen room, and the gym are in great condition. Definitely will stay here again if we ever in this area in the future.

Hotel is located not far from train station, approximately 15min drive away. We love that there’s pick up and drop off service by the hotel. Walking distance to local shopping street 步行街. Staff are helpful and responsive to our request 👍🏻

Room is in great condition with great view, location is also excellent, however what really shines through is their unparalled hospitality and services, special shout out to 和华 at reception desk whom went the extra mile to take care of our last min day trip planning and arranging of driver, subsequently follow up closely through ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Wonderful resort in Shangrila. Location is slightly away from the main spots but cabs are easily available. We got an upgraded room with a wonderful view. Since we are vegetarian, the hotel made special noodles for us for breakfast and gave us complimentary mushroom cookies. All in all a superb stay. Highly recommended.
