The roof is completely made of tile roofs and traditional masonry methods. I especially like the activities of visiting the Longtang Ancient Village and doing batik in the intangible cultural heritage experience hall transformed from a pigpen. I am very happy. The only drawback is that you have to walk up and down a flight of stone stairs to reach the hotel rooms, which is a good experience for young and middle-aged people, but is definitely not friendly enough for the elderly.

Qianhu Miao Village was a huge task for me while browsing through their long list of homestays available. Thankfully, I chose Chunxiao and never regret of my choice. The homestay is new, clean, easily located and accessible! You don't need to climb up lots of stairs to arrive. Just take their local shuttle bus while going uphill and you may have a nice walk downhill. The boss was so kind to assist us with our 4 luggage upon arrival and the day we leave. It wasn't an easy task transporting 4 huge luggage uphill and they managed it professionally and systematically. A huge thumbs up to Chunxiao and we will definitely choose this homestay when we come back again! Thank you very much, all the staff of Chunxiao!!

The hotel is located next to the observation deck and can be reached by sightseeing bus, which is very convenient. The housekeeper also communicated in advance and came out to greet us, and introduced the hotel and surrounding tour routes in detail and took us to the room. The attitude was very good. We were super lost at first, but we gave them a call and they met us across the bridge and helped us carry our bags up the steep hill, and then up the multiple floors of the hotel. The two men at the front desk went above and beyond to help us out — we accidentally left a phone on the train on the way to Xijiang, and we couldn't contact the train company because we're international travelers who are not fluent in Mandarin. They helped us contact 12306, file a lost item report, coordinate with the train company, and arranged for a courier to bring the phone from the train station to the village. We got the phone back in less than 24 hours! They were also helpful with local recommendations, and overall very patient with my intermediate level Mandarin. The room is very new, clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The only drawback is that there may be more mosquitoes at night due to the environment, but the store has informed us in advance, and it's okay to turn on the air conditioner without opening the door. The sound insulation is average, which may be due to the wooden structure. Overall, the stay experience is great.
